Were looking for dynamic, skilled, and empathetic allied
health professionals to join our Crisis and Home Treatment Team within CAMHS
(Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) in Hereford as a Senior Mental
Health Practitioner. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in
delivering urgent mental health support to children, young people, and their
familiesright when they need it most, and often in the comfort of their own
home.
The team adopt a trauma informed holistic approach
to the young people of Hereford and have a supportive, learning culture meaning
this is a great place to work.
The service runs 7 days a week 8am-8pm shifts,
flexible working is encouraged.

Main duties of the job
- You will be providing rapid, responsive assessments
and interventions to young people in mental health crisis.
- Delivering short-term, intensive support at home
- Engaging with parents/carers
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, therapists, and social workers.
- Completing comprehensive risk assessments
- Engaging in weekly MDT meetings
- Participating in clinical, safeguarding and
reflective supervision.
- Administrative
- Contemporaneous clinical record
keeping.

- Evidence of post registered clinical qualifications/training or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of training to a minimum of post graduate diploma level
- Current registration with relevant professional body
