Job summary
This is an
exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team providing high intensity interventions in Cognitive Behavioural
Therapy (CBT), working with adults aged 16+ who have a range of anxiety and
depression related problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically
effective.
This role will suit qualified therapists who hold an accredited
registration with the BABCP or newly qualified CBT therapists working toward
accreditation.
The post
holder will work within the service to provide high intensity CBT interventions
to patients at Step 3 of the IAPT service.
We operate hybrid working to include remote/office based hours to
include face to face patient contact, as well as telephone and video
conferencing. The contracted hours are 22.5
over 3 days and the post is fixed term for a period of 12 months.

Main duties of the job
A typical week will involve working autonomously and as part of a team. Working within a hybrid model you will take a blended approach to home and office-based working.
You will work collaboratively with patients in your care to assess and provide psychological interventions and support individuals to work towards recovery.
You will manage a caseload of individuals with mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety and will keep abreast of the requirements to meet KPI targets.
You will maintain clear and accurate clinical records and will be supported to reflect in and on practice via regular supervision.
You will undertake CPD to further your skills and knowledge base and there will be opportunity to develop your skills by facilitating groups.
You may have an interest in a Champion role as well as involvement in service promotion and development.
You will share an effective interface both with your team and with relevant allied agencies within the care pathway.
