Job summary
We are seeking a fully qualified family and systemic psychotherapist to join our well-established and valued family therapy team within specialist CAMHS in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. This post is 0.6wte.
The post holder would contribute to the provision of the evidence-based treatment of children with mental health difficulties by developing and supporting systemic thinking and practice within CAMHS. They would contribute to the work of core CAMHS with a particular emphasis on providing specialist family therapy clinics in Redditch and Kidderminster and providing consultation and training to other professionals within CAMHS.
The post is an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced family and systemic psychotherapist to develop skills in a supportive team environment.
The post holder would need to be fully qualified in systemic family therapy, with or eligible for registration with the UKCP via the Association of Family Therapy and Systemic Practice. Applicants who may be completing systemic family therapy training in 2025 are welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job
The post holder would join a vibrant group of systemically trained professionals including four qualified and experienced family therapists and two AFT registered supervisors, a systemic therapist currently in training and 5 practitioners who are trained (or in training) to intermediate level. They would participate in all aspects of the systemic family therapy service including provision and receipt of training and supervision as appropriate to their level of experience. The service has strong links to both Birmingham and Exeter University training courses and has trained a growing number of staff through securing HEE funding.
