You
will work in a variety of settings across Herefordshire and Worcestershire,
providing highly visible professional leadership for Nurses and AHPs, ensuring
that the highest standards of clinical care for CYPF are delivered in line with
national and local standards. We are
developing our services to offer the best possible outcomes for the people we
care for and this role will be integral to that journey.
The
directorate also incorporates specialist primary care services including sexual
health services and dentistry and an ability to use transferable skills to
offer professional leadership and quality oversight to these teams will be
required.

Main duties of the job
Is a core member of the
triumvirate senior leadership team and is responsible for ensuring Nurses and
AHPs have the right skills, in the right place to provide the right care at
the right time and are capable, confident and competent to deliver high quality
service user centred care.
Is accountable and responsible for
providing the professional leadership of the registered and non-registered
Nursing and AHP workforce across defined services. The post holder will ensure
services are appropriately resourced and able to meet all the regulatory care
standards required.
Will provide senior strategic visible
clinical and professional leadership, for Nursing and AHPs. Providing
specialist expertise and taking specific responsibility for patient safety,
quality and experience.
Will hold overall responsibility for
the standard of Nursing and AHP care within the service delivery unit.
Will work with the Associate Director
and Associate Medical Director to ensure that services have a clear clinical
model, that staff understand their roles in relation to this, and that a system
of agreed quality metrics is used to demonstrate efficacy of care delivery.
Will
provide strategic and operational Nursing and AHP input to ensure appropriate
advice is provided to the clinical teams so that effective, high quality, safe,
recovery focussed services are delivered consistently across the services.
