Job summary

Our IT Department has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Team.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Assistant Project Manager who will work closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery at rapid pace.

Excellent leadership, organisational and time management skills are essential along with the ability to utilise problem-solving skills and project management tools and techniques to deliver successful projects which support the digital strategy.

The role is 37 hours over 5 days per week and will involve working both from our Trust HQ in Worcester and at home, as well as travel to other Trust sites across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

We have 2 wte available, however we are advertising separately for band 7 and band 6 as we are open to receive applications for both. The banding will be determined by the successful applicant.

Main duties of the job

Work with the Project Manager in supporting the Digital Programme Office with all aspects of project delivery, performance targets and business development ensuring that projects are developed to a high standard, budgets costs are managed effectively and delivered within agreed timescales.

Assist in the provision of business support to the senior management team.

Contributing to the development and co-ordination of events to launch projects during the implementation phase.

Be a point of reference and information for project matters within the Digital Programme Management Office.

Maintain professional communication with all staff , particularly in relation to the delivery of performance targets and projects.
