We
are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us, in our
busy and well-established team that provides wheelchairs to children and adults
with long-term mobility or health needs within Worcestershire. In return, we

Main duties of the job
The role will involve a variety of
administrative tasks as set out in the job description.
Working
closely with both the clinical and administration teams, duties will include
dealing with telephone and personal callers to the service, arranging
deliveries/collections, booking appointments, processing referrals to the
service and general office housekeeping tasks. Responsibilities will include
maintaining full computer records as required.
The applicant will be expected to have
good interpersonal and IT skills and be willing to learn and develop within the
team. Full training on all systems will
be provided.

- Provide effective and efficient
administrative support to the department as required, e.g. typing, data
inputting, filing, scanning/copying and telefaxing, in line with Trust Policies
and Procedures.
- Answer/deal with both face-to-face and
telephone enquiries in a tactful and professional manner, recording any
messages efficiently and passing them to the relevant individual in an
appropriate and timely manner. Deal with incoming and outgoing post.
- Liaise and interact with service users
and colleagues, as and when required.
- Standard keyboard skills.
- Handle transport requests/arrangements,
as and when appropriate.
- Facilitate the smooth running of
clinics/appointments, ensuring that clinical/non-clinical records are obtained
and retrieved, as required.

- Educated to academic Level 2 (e.g. GCSE Grade A-C, NVQ2, OCR/RSA2, City and Guilds 2) in a Business Administration-related subject or Considerable recent NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 2 qualification on appointment to post
- I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer
