CAMHS is a specialist mental health
service for children and young people who have moderate to severe mental health
problems. The service offers face to
face clinic based and video conferencing approach to delivering care and assessments
over four sites across the county.
A
brand-new post has arisen for an Assistant Medical Secretary working for
Worcestershire CAMHS. We are looking for
an enthusiastic, experienced individual to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful
candidate will be working 20 hours per week and will be based at either one of
our locality offices (Redditch, Worcester or Kidderminster).Both the
working hours and base will be discussed with the successful candidate.
Main duties of the job
You will be working as a band 3 Assistant Medical Secretary for
Worcestershire CAMHS. Working alongside
the Medical Secretary you will provide an
efficient and smooth running secretarial service to the Psychiatrists / Consultants in
Worcestershire.
You will make arrangements for appointments as required.
Maintain a diary and appointment system for clinics and make arrangements for
special appointments for patients/ relatives, consultations in the home and
emergency visits as required. Handle
telephone enquiries regarding appointments, cancellations referring where
necessary to the appropriate person. You
may also be asked to cover reception across the Worcestershire CAMHS localities.
The
ability to use your initiative, work proactively, demonstrate excellent
communication and influencing skills, manage and prioritise your own workload and
respond flexibly to changing demands are essential requirements of the role.

meetings, as required, and provide feedback to colleagues.

post.
