Job summary

Our IT Department has a new and exciting opportunity for a Project Support Officer.

If you are an enthusiastic, confident, organised Administrator with project support experience and proven ability to undertake multiple and varied tasks then we want to hear from you!

The Project Support Officer will work within a highly motivated team to provide project administration and support function. This new position will help shape the project support function, working closely with all team members and Managers to ensure all project documentation, reporting and governance is managed effectively. Working with other departmental, clinical and corporate colleagues at all levels will require travel to our sites across Herefordshire and Worcestershire at times.

This 2-year, fixed term role is 37 hrs, 5 days per week working both from our Trust HQ in Worcester and at home.

Main duties of the job

The Project Support Officer will provide full administrative support to a busy team working on digital projects. This is a new role and a chance to help shape the administrative function of the team by undertaking a variety of tasks.

Strong skills in Microsoft office package are required, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio Teams and ability to learn how to use new technology quickly.

The role will involve supporting Project Managers and Business Analysts with all aspects of team and project meeting management; supporting project meetings and producing and distributing agendas, minutes and updating and chasing actions, recording updates on project logs and plans and helping to coordinate the different elements in the projects.

There will be a requirement to own the teams generic inbox and respond and manage to the incoming project enquiries. You will also support the Digital PMO Manager with collation and distribution of project/team reporting and structure of online filing.
