Job summary

The Specialist Community Practitioner student (DN training sponsorship) is a development opportunity to train, acquire knowledge, skills and competencies to practice both in clinical leadership and management. Successful completion of the training will result in an academic qualification as well as a recordable/ registerable qualification with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. It is a unique opportunity for career development in a reputable and autonomous specialism of nursing - community nursing.

Main duties of the job

This is a fully funded training opportunity to qualify as a Specialist Practitioner District Nursing.

Through this application process, you are applying for a place at University and a NHS sponsored placement allowing you to train as a District Nurse.The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years community nursingexperience at the start of the course. We support candidates to train full time atNew Bucks University with a placement within the Trust. The course includes study leave and annual leave for an academic year.

Course commences Monday 11th September 2023
