Job summary
Immunisation Team Assistant Sheen/Teddington
To assist in Phase Two Polio planning, preparation and delivery of school & community immunisation services To encourage children, parents/carers to participate in the immunisation programmes in line with the Department of Health policy. To ensure children and parents/carers have adequate evidence based information to allow them to make an informed choice regarding immunisations.
To participate in the school immunisation programme ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to enabling safe effective administration of immunisations in the school setting.To prepare and assist with immunisation satellite clinics held within the Trust.

Main duties of the job
Immunisation Team Assistant Polio Team
This post offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills and experience within the Immunisation team; you will play a key role in the day to day the administration of the Polio immunisation programme. this work may also involve the flu programme.You will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support and will be expected to work on our patient records database i.e. System One & Riviam e consent system.
You may also be required to travel to local schools across the boroughs and support the flu programme.
