Applications are invited for an enthusiastic and motivated General Practitioner (GP) to join our clinical team based at the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC), Teddington Memorial Hospital.

Main duties of the job

The UTC offers a friendly and pleasing working environment. GPs within the service enjoy the variety and diversity of patients. As the GP, you will see, assess and diagnose patients of all ages attending the UTC with minor illnesses and manage primary care conditions within the context of the UTC. We have access to x-ray services, near point patient testing and see a variety of conditions. You will report to the Lead GP and be expected to participate in clinical governance, service development and quality improvement. You will be an effective role model, maintain and model clinical excellence, teamwork and support education and training within the department.

We are open 7 days a week from 8am 8pm and can offer flexible working hours within a zero-hours contract or a salaried role. Applicants must have full registration with the GMC with a license to practice and be on the National Performers List.
