Location: Across sites, both Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (frequency of visits to each site, to be agreed locally)
We have an opportunity for a qualified and experienced occupational health advisor to work as a Team Leader within a supportive, multi-disciplinary team, delivering occupational health & wellbeing services to Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust and Isle of Wight NHS Trust. We require a highly motivated and experienced occupational health specialist nurse with excellent communication skills, creativity, and good problem-solving skills.
You will be responsible for the effective delivery of an occupational health service to employees across both trusts and external clients, ensuring a cost-effective, high-quality evidence-based service is provided.
The successful candidate will encompass both clinical and managerial responsibilities, supporting the growing multidisciplinary team, service delivery and quality standards. As Team Leader you will play a key role in the day to day operational delivery of OH services. You will provide competent, comprehensive and specialist expert advice to service users, whilst also providing a high standard of occupational health clinical guidance to the clinical team on health screening, fitness for work, workplace adjustments, support for blood borne virus exposures, immunisation and infection control.
