We are recruiting fora Booking Officer- Children's Outpatients who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care and work with us to ensure the Trust continues its journey towards "great people, great place".

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our extremely busy department, within the Child and Family Services.

The post holder will ideally have experience in a similar role. Knowledge of patient record systems, E-referrals, RTT targets, or extensive previous administration experience ideally in a healthcare setting.

Main duties of the job

You will undertake a wide variety of roles, the booking of patients first and follow up appointments and reception duties.

You should have well- developed interpersonal skills, be able to converse in a positive manner at all levels. Be dependable and with a flexible working attitude. Possess strong organisational skills, be able to deliver objectives within agreed time frame, and have a flexible approach to the involving needs of the service. A good telephone manner, excellent keyboard skills and experience in Microsoft office packages. Be able to embrace the constant fast pace within the department.
