An opportunity has arisen for full time Medical Secretary to join the team within Cellular Pathology at St.Mary's Hospital on the Isle of Wight.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced secretary with skills and knowledge covering a wide-range of administrative systems.
The role involves audio and copy typing of complex pathology reports requiring a high level of familiarity of medical terminology.
You will be able to provide a comprehensive secretarial/administrative service to the Consultants and Managers within the Cellular Pathology Department; enabling them to optimise reporting commitment, and therefore facilitating the Trust in the achievement of its objectives and targets.
It is essential that the post holder should exercise initiative and judgement using acquired skill and knowledge whilst always maintaining confidentiality.
