Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivatedindividual to join our Outpatient Team as aDeputy Sister / Deputy Charge Nurse. We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a keen interest in a full range of specialities including Main Outpatients, Orthopaedics, ENT and specifically supporting with overseeing the management of our Gynaecology Outpatient Service. We would welcome applications from Registered Nurses with Outpatient experience however, training and ongoing support will be given as you settle into the role.
We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, proactive anddemonstratesexcellent interpersonal skills and can demonstrate their ability to lead, organise and work closely within the team to ensure a high standard of care is delivered to every patient and relative within the departments.
As the Deputy, your responsibilities will be deputising for the Outpatient Sister, which would include the safe passage of patients through the departments; dealing with concerns, complaints, and anxieties of the patients; complex dressings and taking part in clinical audit; maintaining education and acting as a leader and role model to others.
The successful candidate will play a central role in the daily activity of the clinic, including coordinating shifts, allocation of staff, inducting new staff into the service, and managing a caseload of stable well patients.
