Job summary
We are recruiting for an Theatre Practitioner/Operating Department Practitioner/Anaesthetic Nurse to our multi-disciplinary team who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care and work with us to ensure the Trust continues its journey towards "great people, great place ".Our service consists of 4 Main theatres, 2 Day surgery theatres, 1 Ophthalmology theatre and 1 Maternity theatre. We can provide experience in a number of surgical specialities including:* General Surgery* Breast Surgery* Colorectal Surgery* Gynaecology* Obstetrics* Trauma & Orthopaedics* Urology* Emergency Surgery* ENT* Max Fax* OphthalmologyWe would welcome applications from all experienced Theatre Practitioners/Anaesthetic Nurses/ODP's that believe they can support the leadership and development of our team whilst providing expertise and facilitating the delivery of evidenced-based practice.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will mainly be based with the Main theatres team, although flexibility across all theatres will be required, and will be rostered to work as part of the anaesthetic bleep/ Theatre Practitioner on-call rota.
