Job summary
The Isle of Wight Community Learning Disability Team is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Psychology graduate. This Band 5 Assistant Psychologist post offers an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and dynamic multi-disciplinary team working with adults with learning disabilities across the Isle of Wight.
The Psychology service provides a comprehensive range of psychological assessment and intervention services to adults with learning disabilities. It also provides assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Conditions. Working under the supervision of the Consultant Psychologist, the post-holder will undertake a wide range of psychological assessments and interventions, and provide support to clients, carers, and families. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post-holder will also assist in the provision of staff training, and conduct routine audit and research activities.

About us
Across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight healthcare services are evolving and transforming to meet the continuing care needs of our population. Now is a very exciting time to join Isle of Wight NHS Trust as we enter this period of change.
