This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the hardworking, dedicated and committed Isle of Wight NHS Trust Cancer Nursing team.
The post holder will work closely with, and deputise for, the Consultant Cancer Nurse on the future development of the Cancer services. Enabling the development of the nursing and AHP workforce and national cancer agenda.
Main duties of the job
We require a dynamic, motivated and experienced senior cancer nurse to assist in providing the strategic leadership for the Cancer Service.
You will need commitment and drive, excellent communication and clinical skills. A flexible, adaptable approach and proven leadership abilities enabling professional leadership and support for the Cancer Care Team.

- Detailed knowledge of national cancer agenda, especially in relation to nursing/AHP services
- To demonstrate a genuine interest in cancer care and knowledge of this speciality, working at an advanced level clinically and managerially
