Responsibility for diagnosis and treatment of illness for a number of general medical in-patients.
The general medical emergency on-call rota Frequency will be reduced to 1:11 weekdays. The on-call Consultant must be available between 2200-0800 for advice and to come in if required. - MBBS or equivalent.
- Membership with the relevant Royal College for the speciality.
- GMC registration and license to practice.
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register in Geriatrics and general medicine via a. CCT (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of interview), b. CESR or c. European Community rights
Experience and Skills

- Should have completed a recognised training programme in General Internal Medicine.
- Must be able to demonstrate a hight level of clinical experience and competence in GIM
- IT skills.
