Job summary

We are recruiting for a HR Receptionist who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care and work with us to ensure the Trust continues its journey towards "great people, great place".

The successful candidate will contribute to the provision of a comprehensive, efficient and effective Reception service. The post holder will be dealing with staff, both substantive and bank and visitors to People Services, at front of house reception. To provide support to the People Services Team with administration tasks/projects and some phone cover when necessary. They will be issuing Trust ID Badges and assigning door access where necessary. The role will also be responsible for ordering stationary.

Please note, this is a fixed-term appointment until 31st March 2024, and salary will be pro-rata for 37.5 hours per week. Working days are specifically Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to work independently using initiative, and applying a high degree of confidentiality to all of their work. To undertake non-routine duties without direct supervision, working within broad procedural guidelines.

Applicants must demonstrate excellent IT skills, a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and accurate typing is essential. This is a busy and varied role responsible for all aspects of reception/administration and will involve daily face to face service user contact, so good interpersonal skills are required.
