St Helens Ward will be an 18 bedded Surgical Ward located in the main core of the hospital with 4 bays and 6 side rooms all with individual bathrooms. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to demonstrate a commitment to patient-cantered care and support the ward on our 'getting to good' journey.
Main duties of the job
Supporting registered nursing staff in the provision of clinical care to the patients on St Helens.
Some housekeeping tasks e.g., preparation of drinks, breakfasts, cleaning etc.

To be an active member of the team, assisting the registered nurses with the provision of clinical care in a safe environment to a defined caseload of patients, assisting reception and housekeeping staff in the delivery of support services.
Ensure the maintenance of high standards of care in an environment, which promotes equality and sensitivity for all individuals.
Care must be in adherence to local and national policies.
To ensure that relationships and own behaviour is managed in line with the PCT competencies.
The role includes working in other departments across the Trust and evening and weekend working and night shifts.
