An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Administrator to join our established administration team in the Urgent & Crisis Service based in Sheffield.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive Clinical Administration support service to our multi-disciplinary team of professionals. The primary function of the role will be the initial point of contact for service users, professionals and carers contacting for mental health support and guidance. This will then lead on to the associated administrative tasks relating to these calls, which will include taking clear factual notes for inputting onto the electronic patient record, therefore listening skills are of paramount importance for the role.
You should be enthusiastic about the challenges of working in a busy environment and can remain calm under pressure. Additionally, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be motivated, able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, and able to work with other partnership agencies.
The postholder will be expected to work on a shift pattern as follows: 0800-1600, 1000-1800, 1200-2000 and 1400-2200. Shifts will be completed as one full week of the same hours, Monday to Friday although flexibility is to be expected to cover in times of sickness absence, annual leave and study leave.
