Job Overview

Burbage Ward is a 16 bedded female acute ward, which aims to deliver assessment and treatment to individuals who require care and support within an inpatient setting. We aim to:

  • Utilise Collaborative Care Planning.
  • Offer therapeutic activities via both Occupational Therapy and Art Therapy
  • Encourage multidisciplinary working to help aid recovery
  • Use trauma informed approaches and psychological formulation to help support those in our care
  • We are a 24-hour service and require a high degree of flexibility regarding rotation between day and night shifts, including weekends.

Main duties of the job

In applying for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

Completed the Cavendish Care Certificate.

Achieved a GCSE grade 4 (formally grade C) or above in Maths and English, this can include Functional skillsLevel 2 or above.

Can demonstrate two years experience of working as a Health Care Support Worker in mental health.
