This is an exciting opportunity to apply to be a Ward Manager within Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust.
G1 Ward is a specialist ward for people who have complex dementia and associated challenging or highly distressed behaviour. It is set in a peaceful location in private grounds with staff parking facilities. The ward has 16 beds and is the only one of its kind in Sheffield.
G1 Ward is a friendly place to work, which often receives compliements from student nurses, visitors and friends/family. The team are currently engaged in some exciting changes which you could be part of and instrumental in leading.
We are seeking dynamic, motivated individual with an interest in service development, quality improvement and a passion to ensure our service users receive high quality, compassionate care.
The individual will work in close collaboration with the Senior Nurse Practitioner and Matron to ensure that the clinical priorities and standards of care are achieved.
You will need to be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with experience of clinical leadership. You should be a confident, competent, and a person-centred leader with a high level of knowledge and skills with dementia care. You should be passionate with a knowledge of standards and procedures that direct and influence this system.
