Job summary

This is a rare opportunity to join the small but influential Clinical Effectiveness Team, who work across SHSC to support evidence-led care. The team directly support the delivery of the Trust's Clinical and Social Care Strategy, and the Clinical Audit Facilitator role is crucial in helping services to be evidence-based and deliver excellent standards of care.

You will need to be highly organised with a methodical approach and attention to detail. You will also need to be proactive, and at times assertive in order to be effective.

Main duties of the job

The Clinical Audit Facilitator is responsible for the running of SHSC's clinical audit and and service evaluation function: developing audit tools, providing analysis, reporting progress, action planning and disseminating outcomes across the Trust. The post-holder will plan, implement, facilitate and action plan all aspects of the audit cycle and will communicate audit results using a variety of methods, suitable to the receiving audience. The post-holder is required to provide training (basic and advanced) to staff in clinical audit and to assist staff in analysing and interpreting audit results.
