Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist
Great opportunity for a Band 6 looking to develop their career in an occupational therapy clinical leadership post or a Band 7 looking for a leadership role within Adult Acute Mental Health Services.
We are looking for an OT who can lead and champion Occupational Therapy and is able to demonstrate the clinical, and leadership skills needed to provide an outstanding service.
You will be expected to demonstrate experience in providing evidence-based treatment interventions.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be confident working with a complex caseload of service users and demonstrate their skills applying evidence-based models of occupational therapy to their practice and the practices of the wider team.
They will be able to provide service user centred occupational therapy skills to assess, formulate, implement, and evaluate specialist interventions.
They will provide effective guidance, supervision, leadership, line management and appraisal for OT staff, alongside supervision and development for occupational therapy students on practice placements.
They will have advanced skills in planning, development, and evaluation of occupational therapy services and be able to hold responsibility for defined projects.
They will develop and implement service changes and act as a specialist resource for the occupational therapy team/service and wider trust.
There will also be development opportunities to deputise for the Clinical Lead AHP as required but with full support.
