Job summary
This is a fantastic opportunity for a GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician with strong procurement experience and an interest in mental health, to join our dynamic and innovative pharmacy team. The pharmacy team is currently undergoing significant developments, including the implementation of ePMA and new clinical roles to improve medicines optimisation.

You will need to be organised, analytical and motivated with excellent communication and problem solving skills, as well the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Main duties of the job
To manage the pharmacy procurement and distribution service for NLFT.
To maintain and develop systems for pharmacy procurement and distribution, in order to provide a high quality, efficient service to service users including off site clinics.
To manage the Pharmacy / medicines management IT system.
To provide management, supervision, training and development to Pharmacy Technicians, Assistants and trainees.
To deputise for the Chief Pharmacy Technician when required, including the day to day management and responsibility for the operational supply of medicines to wards, units or community teams and deployment of staff ensuring an effective and efficient pharmacy technical supply service.

In order to meet the needs of the Trust you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington.
