Job summary
Services for Older Adults in North London Foundation Trust (NLFT) are undergoing widespread, innovative transformation. This includes the development of an Older Adults Home Treatment Team for the NLFT north boroughs. The post holder will manage the Older Adult Home Treatment Team covering the boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey.
You will be leading and managing a multidisciplinary team and working with other Older Adult Home Treatment Team and Adult Crisis Team managers to make sure that home treatment services are innovative and high-quality services which have the service users best interest at its heart.
The post holder will lead on governance and audit within the team, ensuring that team members are supported and developed to their potential and that new team members are comprehensively inducted and successfully integrated into the team.
Main duties of the job
To take operational day to day management responsibility at team level using performance management systems to ensure the effective delivery of contract activity.
Work with the Service Lead to deliver Integrated Governance requirements and be responsible for delivering governance within the team. This may include contributing to the writing of policy and procedure documents relating to clinical practice.
To oversee the provision of expert, autonomous and highly specialist clinical practice within the MDT
To ensure clinical staff maintain accurate and up to date records.

- Diploma or degree leading to professional Registered qualification in Mental Health or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with a professional body
- Evidence of recent and on-going academic study and/or CPD

- Current Level 2 Safeguarding Children and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults certificates
- Master's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
