Main duties of the job
The Administration Team Supervisor will manage the provision of an efficient, effective and high quality administrative and clerical/ reception service to support health and social care professionals and service users/patients within a community-based team.
Major job responsibilities include:
o Lead and motivate a team members within an admin hub environment to deliver administrative support to a range of locality based clinical services/ reception / switchboard services as defined in role objectives
o Manage the team's performance and deliver activity within agreed standard operating procedure and to defined quality standards
o Develop and implement standardised approaches to administrative work within the area of responsibility.The role will report to an Admin Team Manager, who has overall responsibility for an administrative hub of services. The teams that the administration team supervisor would be responsible for may include those supporting:
o A defined community-based service (locality or district wide in nature)o Trust switchboard serviceso Trust reception support and training conference facilities at designated siteso Service manager administration
