Main job responsibilities include:
o General Administrationo Data Inputtingo Clinical Administration within Clinical record systems (appointment booking, record keeping, waiting list maintenance, adding referrals etc.)o Undertake planned and unplanned work activities as assigned by Team Supervisoro General office duties (Letter typing, photocopying, filing, ordering, support with office stock control, scanning, post etc.)o Booking interpreters or booking transporto Effective diary managemento Meeting arrangements and supporto Dictation / Audio Typingo Copy typing of assessments, reports and letterso Produce high quality documents from written, recorded, dictated materialo Support with assigning workflow management activitieso Manage own workload and activity so that deadlines are achievedo To support with collecting dataSystem Administrationo Using workflow management system prioritising and supporting with coordination of requestso Book rooms across the Trust as requested through the booking systemo Using Microsoft Office software as part of daily roleo Using Trusts Intranet to support with roleo Using Digital Dictation software and maintaining letter templateso General clinical system support (e.g. letter templates, applying rotas, maintaining waiting lists)
Main duties of the job
Customer Service / Communicationo Providing telephony service to Trust wide services and ensuring the calls are routed to the relevant service and departmento Dealing with telephone and personal enquiries from members of the public and healthcare professionals. Provide non-clinical information and advice to patients and relatives within the boundaries of the roleo Undertaking reception and front of house duties at designated siteso Using e-technologies to improve efficient ways of communicationo Arranging appointments, interpreters and booking of transport as and when requested by members of the clinical teams.o Be a first point of contact for identified clinical services ensuring professional standards and the appropriate style of communication is deployed depending on the situation.
