A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a for a full-time Therapy Assistant to join our well-established team at Airedale Centre for Mental Health.

The vacancy is based on Fern ward, an acute psychiatric ward, caring for males aged 18-65 who are experiencing acute mental illness.

**PLEASE NOTE THE WARD ARE TEMPORARILY BASED AT WILLOW WARD AT LYNFIELD MOUNT DUE TO MAJOR WORK TAKING PLACE AT AIREDALE**

Main duties of the job

As a therapy assistant, you will assist the allied health professionals in the assessments of functional ability, deliver individualised treatment plans and support recovery and transition from hospital to home. You will work collaboratively with the different allied health professionals including the occupational therapists, physiotherapists and speech and language therapists, as well as the wider MDT both on the ward and in the community. In addition, you will be involved in the service development at the unit.

We are seeking an innovative individual, able to work collaboratively with service users and staff, and integrate well into the multidisciplinary team on the ward.
