Job summary
We currently have a requirement offered via our Staff Bank for a registered Midwife, Health Visitor, Psychologist, Family Therapist or Psychotherapist to join the CAMHS service.
You will be based at Woodroyd Medical Centre but will also travel across the Bradford district. This requirement is needed ASAP and will be temporary for a period of 3 months however, extensions to this may be required.
You will work within a multi-disciplinary pathway delivering effective mental health care to mothers, fathers and their infants up to the baby's second birthday. And support the caseload management of families receiving enhanced care to support the early relationships between parents and their babies.
Main duties of the job
- To work within a multi-disciplinary pathway delivering effective mental health care to mothers, fathers, carers and their infants from conception until a baby's second birthday
- To support a caseload of individuals and families experiencing attachment, bonding, or parent-infant relationship issues across the Bradford District (due to service expansion)
- To support the adherence to relevant national guidance and best practice on parent-infant relationships and Infant Mental Health

Qualifications
Essential
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology, as accredited by the British Psychological Society. Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council
- Good relevant honours degree, or recognized equivalent / Other related pre-training professional qualifications or equivalent / Doctorate Level 6 year ACP accredited training in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy which includes a minimum of 4 years' full time clinical training and one's own intensive analysis / Full member of Association of Child Psychotherapists(ACP)
- Completed a Masters qualifying level training course accredited by AFT / Be registered or eligible to register with UKCP
- RGN / RN Dip HE / Health Visiting Qualification and/or Community Specialist Practitioner in Public Health - Health Visiting (BSc.Hon)
- Registered Midwife on NMC Register at band 6 or above
Desirable
- Leadership training and development
- Previous experience of working with perinatal difficulties and parent infant work
- Further post-graduate training and evidence of continued professional development
- Relevant specialist clinical courses / training
