Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic individual who has strong leadership skills and can bring a wide range of partners together to further improve the health of our population, improving the health of the poorest the fastest. We are building on a strong base, but there are also major opportunities through Mental Health Transformation funding to work with partners to create radical change in the ways in which our services are delivered. We are aiming to develop our services in a way that is grounded in communities, working with and alongside those who have the poorest experiences of help and support for their mental health to redesign the system. We have developed our vision in collaboration with partners and our staff. We are looking for someone to help deliver that vision and support its operational implementation.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will take a strategic role in leading the development and delivery of services within Bradford district and Craven, for people with mental health conditions. This post will have a focus on adults of all ages.
In partnership with colleagues, the post holder is responsible for creating and supporting a climate where staff, managers and clinicians are enabled, equipped and supported to make decisions and take action as close to the patient/service user as possible.
The post holder will provide highly expert levels of integration support and leadership, both to the wider system and also to those working directly with them; ensuring that effective management, improvement and governance and performance systems are in place, demonstrating positive leadership through their behavior and role modelling.
