Job summary

BDCFT currently have a temporary Staff Bank requirement for a Team Leader to support the clinical and professional work by line managing the Little Minds Matter: Bradford Infant Mental Health Service team members.

This is a temporary requirement offered via the trusts Staff Bank. You will ideally be available to work full time, covering shifts 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Main duties of the job

To line manage the Little Minds Matter team including
Authorize necessary claim forms, time sheets and invoices
Manage the team accommodation
To support, alongside the leadership team, the processes of referrals into the service
Through case load management, allocate caseloads and regularly monitor the performance of the team and of individuals in their management of client contact
To ensure the provision of accurate and timely performance data to service manager and others where required
To identify, assess and manage clinical and non-clinical risks/hazards in your area through the completion of the relevant risk assessments and the implementation of risk treatment plans
In conjunction with the leadership team take managerial and supervisory responsibility for the work and decision making of the team
Create and maintain effective communication and relationships within the team
To support the leadership team to manage the implementation of clinical governance i.e. set up and agree a clinical governance plan; including training, staff development, clinical effectiveness and audit and workforce planning
Ensure the provision of training, mentoring, and assessment of trainee professionals' including Trainee Clinical Psychologists
Provide support to your direct reports and team members around their personal health and wellbeing.
Take a lead role in the development of clinical practice in line with the Clinical Governance framework
