Main duties of the job
- Develop psychological formulations for individual patients that contributetowards the overall assessment of their care needs.
- Collaboratively establish individual patient's goals towards recovery.
- Determine suitability of specific psychological interventions, including group and individual modalities, based on the patient's assessment/formulation.
- Plan, deliver and review individual and group psychological interventions for specific patients.
- Contribute to the planning/review cycle of the psychological therapyprogramme.
- Identify gaps within and potential developments of the psychological therapy programme, reporting these to supervisory staff

- Registered Mental Nursing Certificate (RMN). Current Registration on part 3 or part 13 of NMC register. OR Occupational Therapist registration HPC OR Psychological Therapy qualification (at degree level or equivalent) OR Psychologist with BPS approved degree in Psychology, working towards doctorate OR Social Workers registered SWE
Desirable
- Teaching (clinical practice) qualification/certificate or equivalent experience. Qualified psychological therapist, working towards accreditation from a recognised Psychological Therapy body eg BABCP, BACP, UKCP Additional therapy training in Traumabased interventions
