Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified systemic/family therapist to join Bradford CAMHS Psychological Therapies Team. As part of your role, you will be offering Psychological Consultation, Assessment and Therapy to Children, Young People and their Families. The role will be well-supported with clear clinical governance and supervision.

The post-holder will contribute extensively to consultations with a child's professional network, be involved in creative assessment of families and provide therapeutic interventions, including group work. The theoretical framework of the team is based on Attachment Theory, Child Development, Developmental Trauma and family relationships and dynamics. Systemic working is crucial to the role.

Main duties of the job

  • Work as an effective member of the multi disciplinary team bringing psychological theory and knowledge to the wider team via joint work, consultation, reflective spaces, supervision and team formulations.
  • Work with autonomous professional judgement, together with other psychological therapists, to deliver specialist evidence based assessment, formulation and therapy to individual and groups of patients.
  • Manage a designated caseload of patients with responsibility for their assessment (including clinical risk), implementation and evaluation of therapy.
