Job summary

12 Month Fixed Term Contract, 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday

We are delighted to advertise a full time clinical psychologist / psychological therapist (accredited in Counselling, CBT and or EMDR) post in the Staff Psychological Assessment and Treatment Service in the West Yorkshire Mental Health and Wellbeing Integrated Care System (ICS) Hub. This post will be mainly remote working with some requirement to attend bases across the West Yorkshire region.

The role is to support the workforce in health and care roles across West Yorkshire. This post is hosted by Bradford District Care Foundation Trust (BDCFT) and initially funded by the hub until March 2023 however the fixed term cost of the post has been underwritten by our Mental Health provider collaborative so if NHSE provided hub funding doesn't continue post March 2023, the role will still continue as a fixed term contract.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide support to the West Yorkshire Integrated Care System via the Staff Psychological Assessment and Treatment Service
  • To provide evidence based psychological therapy, making autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice
  • Assist the clinical lead with service development activities, including routinely collecting outcomes and satisfaction data supporting service evaluation.
  • Engage in promotion and wellbeing interventions that support the West Yorkshire Integrated Care System via the Staff Psychological Assessment and Treatment Service

Qualifications

Essential

  • Doctorate level training in clinical or applied psychology, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical, psychometrics, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology as accredited by the BPS, or a BPS Statement of Equivalence.
  • Specialist post graduate training to masters level or equivalent in a psychotherapeutic modality - including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Relationship Counselling, Integrative Psychotherapy, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Systemic Therapy etc
  • Accreditation from a recognised Psychological Therapy body e.g. BABCP, BACP, UKCP via: (a)Professional route; requiring previous mental health qualification e.g. Clin. Psych., RMN, Dip. SW.
  • (b)where applicable, the KSA (knowledge, skills and attitude) route (e.g. with the BABCP).

Experience and Knowledge
