Job summary
We are seeking a 10 PA substantive SAS doctor who is well motivated to join Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust's Ashbrook ward. Ashbrook ward is a 21 bedded acute female admission ward, based at Lynfield Mount Hospital.
The successful candidate will work with the Consultant Psychiatrist as a senior member of the medical team overseeing the day to day mental and physical care of inpatients on a particular ward.
Main duties of the job
To attend ward rounds, conduct reviews and create management plans for patients on Ashbrook ward.
They will chair ward rounds and make decisions about patient care in the absence of the consultant, seeking advice from the covering consultant where appropriate. They will supervise junior medical staff (trainees) within the inpatient setting when the consultant is absent.
