Therapeutic Social Worker / Parent-Infant Therapist
Little Minds Matter: Bradford Infant Mental Health Service
Band 7, full-time, fixed term until March 2024.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development and delivery of a specialist team supporting families experiencing difficulties with the parent-infant relationship.
The Little Minds Matter: Bradford Infant Mental Health Service is a Better Start Bradford Project. Better Start Bradford is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest funder of community activity in the UK. We also have additional funding through the Reducing Inequalities in Communities programme to support families across Bradford City. We are delivered by Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with Family Action. The current funding arrangements are in place until March 2024 and other sources are being explored to enable the service to continue.
Main duties of the job
This post would suit a social worker with experience working therapeutically with families. We are also interested in hearing from clinicians from other backgrounds with experience offering therapy to families, including but not limited to psychologists, family therapists and psychotherapists.
The post holder with have experience assessing and offering interventions around relationship difficulties, managing risk and working in a community setting. You will have excellent interpersonal skills for working both with families and professionals and be a team player with good organisational skills who is able to manage a varied workload of clinical work, consultation and training.
