Job summary
This post is suitable for an individual with an Occupational Therapy background and will provide a supportive keyworker role to children referred to CAMHS from the ages of 0-6 years.
The post will interface with and work alongside, the assessment and therapy offer provided through the Specialist Early Attachment and Development (SEAD) team. This will expand the multi-disciplinary mental health offer for younger children across the Bradford District, which currently includes clinical psychology, social work, health visiting and child psychotherapy.

The successful candidate will be based primarily at our base in Bradford and Keighley with the possibility of working remotely via Microsoft-teams when required. In addition, we support flexible working and career development.
Main duties of the job
The SEAD team have a depth of experience in working with children and families during the earliest years of life where there are significant concerns around the family psychology, child development, attachment relationships and complex intergenerational trauma. This post will support all young children referred to CAMHS, many of whom will require input in respect of the above to a greater or lesser extent. Thus, the new roles will involve consultation, assessment, and when indicated support to access a range of therapeutic interventions (including Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP); Video Interaction Guidance (VIG); Theraplay; Reflective Parenting & Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy).

- oMembership of HCPC.
- oEvidence of successful completion/on-going undertaking specialist short course/ training in up to master's degree equivalent.
