If so, Cambridgeshire Community Services 0-19 Healthy Child Programme (School Nursing) would welcome you to join our team.
Applications will be welcomed from experienced and School Nurses due to qualify.
To ensure the accessibility and quality of our services, we offer a SPA service for all families with children aged 5-19 years residing in these areas. This is available from 09.00hrs - 17.00hrs, accessed by telephone and email. The SPA School Nurse will support the delivery of this, alongside other skill mix team members rostered onto SPA daily.
We have vacancies within our South Locality School Nursing teams in Cambridge City and surrounding areas. Successful candidates will be located within one of the areas depending on available positions.

Main duties of the job

- To work as part of a team leading the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme. The role of the School Nurse is to promote good health and prevent ill health in young people, families and communities. School Nurses do this through raising awareness of and identifying unmet health needs, and initiating, developing, implementing, and evaluating plans of care
