Job summary
Are you looking to develop your skills in the area of Neurodiversity?
This is a fixed term post until June 2025 in the first instance, to cover an internal secondment for the existing post holder. The post holder will work as part of an established Multi-disciplinary team of Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals working as part of the Neurodevelopmental diagnostic and support team. The role will involve diagnostic assessments as well as support and training for children and their families who have been referred to the Neurodevelopmental team.

Main duties of the job
Working as part of the Neurodiversity diagnostic and wider team, you will carry out ADOS and communication assessments to inform the diagnostic process as well as providing detailed information relating to children's communication support needs for parents and professionals within settings. This will involve working with both pre school and school age children.
The role will be based at the Edwin Lobo Child Development Centre but will require travel to educational settings to conduct assessments and attend meetings as required.
