This is a 6-month fixed term contract to cover staff absence.

You will have:
- Demonstrable all-round admin and PC skills
- Audio typing background, knowledge of Lexacom software desirable
- An ability to prioritise and communicate effectively
- Experience of working for the NHS or similar

This role sits within our iCaSH service in Bedfordshire and is part of a wider offering across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Milton Keynes, Peterborough, Norfolk, and Suffolk.

Main duties of the job
You will be working to support the Service Support Lead with dealing with incoming referrals, typing doctor letters and scanning into the clinical database.
You will be call handling as required and making appointments for patients using our electronic patient record system. Other duties include data entry, dealing with prescriptions and liaising with internal/external clinical staff.
