We are delighted to announce that we have four vacancies in our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) and we are looking for two enthusiastic and creative EMHP and CWP's to join our new teams!

Posts are available in Kings Lynn, North Norfolk, Lowestoft and South Norfolk.

Cambridgeshire Community Services (CCS) NHS Trust provides a range of services for children and families across Norfolk and Waveney and has recently been awarded the contract for the MHST programme.

The Trust already provides eight MHSTs in Cambridgeshire with two more planned for launching in 2024. Therefore, you can be reassured that you will be joining a supportive and experienced organisation with a broad knowledge of the Norfolk and Waveney system and of delivering a high-quality service.

Main duties of the job

In this role you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based intervention for children and young people and their families, in education settings, with mild to moderate mental health problems.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Clinical and Team Lead and the Senior Clinician, to ensure that their MHST is a success.

In addition to clinical work and work with schools and colleges, the post holders will provide clinical supervision for our Education Mental Health Practitioners (some are likely to be Trainee EMHP's).

The successful candidate will provide case management and clinical supervision to Trainee EMHPs (EMHPs once qualified) under the direction of their Senior Clinician and Clinical & Team Lead.

The post holder will manage a caseload and the provision of mental health care services to children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems in education settings. They will also provide assessment and formulation of mental health difficulties in children and young people

Furthermore, the successful candidate will offer evidence-based practice in guided self-help, CBT, child and adolescent mental health practice and Whole School Approaches to mental health. They will also clinically develop the provision of group work for children/young people and training for teaching staff, to include training and mentoring EMHP colleagues in order to improve the quality of the group work and training that we deliver.

We understand registration for EMHPs/CWPs is a new process, so at the time of advertising, it may not be possible for the candidate to be registered (if an EMHP/CWP), but there is the expectation that you will register as soon as is possible.
