Clinical Psychologist/Parent-Infant Psychotherapist
This job is now closed
Job summary
This service focuses on the very special relationship between parents and infants that develops in the early years of a child's life. It aims to support families to promote a loving, connected, and secure relationship between primary caregivers' and their babies, which lays the positive foundation for health and well-being that lasts into adulthood.
We work with families who have found that that building a warm relationship with their baby does not come naturally or easily. We do this by working with parents and carers to build on the care-giving strengths they have, whilst recognising and acknowledging the challenges they face in developing a positive relationship with their baby.
Please note that should we receive a high number of applications, we reserve the right to close the advert earlier than advertised.

The post holder will provide specialist clinical intervention to families, supervision, consultation and training to staff/the wider system, as well as using their skills for audit, service development and research.
