Ensuring children get the best start in life and improving outcomes for children and families is a key priority in Bedfordshire and as such Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire Local Authorities have invested additional funding into the 0-19 service to ensure the needs of the community continue to be identified and addressed.
Main duties of the job
We are expanding our team and looking for practitioners who want to be part of our drive to improve the health outcomes for the children, young people and their families who live in this community. We work in partnership with families, making co-production a top priority.
Our innovative health visiting teams need both full time and part time Specialist Community Public Health Nurses - Health Visiting. If you have this qualification and you are passionate about making a real difference to these families then we would like to meet you.
We welcome applications from experienced and newly qualified Health Visitors and are able to offer:
