Job summary
We're looking for a forward-thinking, positive Business Support Manager to manage the delivery of support services to the fast-paced, dynamic large-scale vaccination programme.
The programme continues to adapt to the changing demands, so the successful candidate will be both proactive and reactive with experience in service support/management. Communication is key, to keep in touch with changes and lead compassionately and collaboratively.
Agency, Secondment, and Fixed Term Contract would be considered.
Main duties of the job
The Business Support Manager will manage the delivery of a range of support services to the vaccination programme. They will also provide administrative, business and organisational support to the service and programme leadership teams to ensure the smooth running of operational and programme workflows and activities.

Job description
Job responsibilities
- Provide administrative, business, and organisational support to the LSV leadership team.
- Ensure all actions are completed and followed up as necessary so that the service business processes operate effectively.
- To develop and implement plans for operational business delivery, monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to take any changes into account.
- To provide support in the recruitment and onboarding of staff, including organisation of induction and training, to ensure staff are welcomed into the service in a timely and effective way.
- To support programme and service meetings, clinical operational board, and regional/national meetings, by developing and distributing agendas and action notes; ensuring risks are reviewed and updated regularly; and producing and collating reports as necessary.
- To work with the data analyst by updating the National Booking System and Foundry as agreed.
- To work with the national team of National Booking System on resolution of errors and issues, and on Foundry data issues.
- To support the pharmacy team with the national ordering system as agreed.
- To manage programme and service logistics as agreed, attending meetings and ensuring ordering and delivery of supplies and equipment.
- To update the grab a jab and council websites with changes to service delivery to ensure they accurately reflect current delivery schedules.
- To manage the clinical on call rota, ensuring updating of mobile phone numbers etc. Manage the service 0300 number and ensure accuracy of welcome message.
- Manage and monitor queries to the service inbox.
- Make suggestions and implement changes to improve the effectiveness of processes and service delivery.
