Attention all Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP) and Children's Wellbeing Practitioners (CWP). Have you got two or more years of experience working in post since you completed your course? If so, we would welcome an application to this senior position based in Fenland - taking a lead on approximately 6 or 7 schools.

Main duties of the job
In this role you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based intervention for children and young people and their families in education setting with mild to moderate mental health problems.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Clinical and Team Lead and the Senior Clinician, to ensure that the MHST is a success.
In addition to clinical work and work with schools and colleges, the post holder may provide clinical supervision to our Trainee EMHP's. Furthermore, the post holder will likely be attend the University of East Anglia's Supervisor course (likely to be a mixture of online and in person delivery).

The MHST programme is in collaboration with NHS England, Health Education England and the Department for Education, following on from the 2017 Green Paper Transforming children and young peoples mental health provision. This is a roll out of the work to improve access to mental health care for young people set out in the NHS Long Term Plan.
You will join a supportive NHS Trust that already has six existing MHSTs in Cambridgeshire, with four more planned for launching in 2023/2024.

You will manage a caseload and the provision of mental health care services to children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems in education settings. They will also provide assessment and formulation of mental health difficulties in children and young people
Furthermore, the successful candidate will offer evidence-based practice in guided self-help, CBT, child and adolescent mental health practice and Whole School Approaches to mental health. They will also clinically develop the provision of group work for children/young people and training for teaching staff, to include training and mentoring EMHP colleagues in order to improve the quality of the group work and training that we deliver.
