Dudley Integrated Health and Care NHS Trust is unique. It is the first integrated care provider in the country combining primary care with community physical and mental health services across the borough of Dudley.
The Trust is now in a critical stage of its journey working towards the award of the Integrated Care Provider (ICP) contract in April 2022, and we are now recruiting to a number of substantive senior posts including the Executive and the first of these is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) role.
Main duties of the job
The COO role is a pivotal appointment for the organisation and will be responsible for the direction and running of the clinical operational services, the development of the operational divisions and overseeing preparations in readiness to receive the next transfer of services in April 2022. We are looking for an extraordinary system leader, who is keen to take on a new challenge, and will prioritise developing relationships with system partners including our local GPs and Primary Care Networks, our fellow providers, our commissioners and our community and voluntary organisations. Integration is at the heart of everything we do and by working together with everyone involved in the provision of care, we aim to ensure our communities are fully supported to live healthier lives for longer.
