Talking Therapies Step 2 (PWP) Team Administrator

Reports to Step 2 (PWP) Team Manager

37.5 Hours per week

We are seeking an organised, enthusiastic and motivated Team Administrator to join our friendly and dedicated NHS Talking Therapies service. The service is delivered jointly by Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust and MIND Mental Health Charity.

You will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of the service, ensuring our clinicians and clients receive a high standard of administrative support.

As a valued member of our admin team, you'll be the first point of contact for service users, professionals and partner organisations. You'll provide essential administrative support to clinical staff, including booking appointments, liaising with clients, maintaining accurate records and supporting team meetings.

Main duties of the job

To provide administrative support the the NHS Talking Therapies team including clinicians, supervisors and managers.

To ensure accurate data entry onto our clinical database.

To handle telephone and email enquiries with professionalism, sensitivity and confidentiality.

To coordinate clinical appointments, cancellations and waiting lists.

To prepare correspondence, reports and meeting minutes as required.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to information governance standards.

To work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a responsive and efficient administrative service.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and work to tight time scales, to meet agreed targets and deadlines
  • Able to confidently deal with the general public and a wide range of public sector professionals and outside organizations
  • Ability to work under pressure, with minimum supervision
  • Ability to take initiative and use own judgement, when required
  • Ability to learn new computer systems , as required
  • A general understanding of the NHS and the way it works
